Comments: This looks like a really useful resource! I had a quick look through and here a couple of suggestions. I think you may have started the blurb under the video of the french pair race but not finished it, because it just says 'this famous race' and thats it. Maybe in the before you start section a list of common reasons why people don't think they would be good at/like rowing (too short, never played sport before etc.) and an explanation of why these reasons are unfounded. Also on that page a 'what to expect from your first race' or something explaining the course and umpires and starts and things? I think you have the learn to row stuff pretty well sorted out, but maybe that next sort of level of racing for the first time would be handy. On the drills page some videos or diagrams of those drills would be super useful (bring the camera down to training tonight maybe haha) for people to help visualize it. Bit nit picky, but maybe make the text quoted from wikipedia a bit bigger on the technique page, its kind of tricky to read. And I don't know if this is where you sort of wanted to go with this but maybe a bit of info about coaching and umpiring, like accreditation etc? Even like a section about other roles in the sport of rowing other than being a rower or coxswain. On the whole though it looks really good at I can see how it would be a really useful tool for the club. Good luck with finishing it off, I'm interested to see what you put on those last couple of pages.

Comments: If this wasn't for an assignment I would say you have way too much time on your hands. it is looking good though. I made a few small changes in sizing, text formatting and things like that. The material is looking really good so far, although I can tell you haven't finished some sections yet. Obviously since it is for an assignment you need to write most of it yourself at this stage, but once it is marked you should get the other coaches fully on board. I can definitely see this taking off and being an awesome resource :)

Comments: I think that this is a really useful tool. The page will be able to be used by novices who may be investigating joining a rowing club and they can get an idea of the type of club/sport they are joining. This page could also be used as a resource for clubs members to examine videos and get an idea of where they can improve their own rowing. Also a good tool for coaches to exchange drills and session ideas and post off water training sessions for rowers to access. Once the final pages are up and running it will be a helpful tool for present and future rowers and club members. Good work.

Comments: Geoff, this is a great resource. I agree with what Abi has said, in that the page can be used by novice rowers looking to see what rowing is all about, as well for other rowers and coaches getting ideas about how they can improve. Once the page is finished and a few others have contributed this is going to be a real useful tool for rowers, it will save me printing 20 or so copies of introduction pacck to the Novice Mens Squad. There are few glitches that can be improved but they are pretty minor (on the timeline you have rowing starting at the olympics in 1986, im pretty sure that its 1896 hahaha, and the small text size from external resources could be bigger). Like I said minor things Geoff. Overall good stuff. I will be telling people at UWABC and outside of the Boat Club about this, get some ideas exchanging
